How to Connect with Like Minded Women

We get it, entrepreneurship and leveling up in life can feel kind of lonely…but it doesn’t have to! There are like minded women who want to connect with YOU!

The PW community is built on the belief that you are NOT meant to do business (or life) alone. But where do you meet and connect with like minded women who will support you and have your back while chasing your big ideas? How do you build a community that really gets you? 

Today we are sharing three tips for how to cultivate a badass, supportive group of female friends!

1. Spoiler alert: The people you want to connect with aren’t going to magically show up on your doorstep! It’s up to YOU to put yourself in places where upleveled women hang out (no matter how scary it feels)…places like masterminds, virtual events, and networking groups. Don’t be afraid to slide into DMs of women you’d love to connect with and suggest a Zoom coffee date!

2. Aim to connect with women who are at about the same level in business and collaborate by sharing what’s working for you, what lessons you’re learning, and what’s challenging for you right now. A great book to read together as a guide for connecting deeper is A Tribe Called Biss by Lori Harder!

3. Do the deeper internal work to uncover what may be stopping you from connecting with women in a meaningful way. Female friendship can sometimes trigger jealousy, comparison, or envy (it’s normal), but these feelings can actually be a catalyst for even deeper connection if you’re not afraid to confront your limiting beliefs and patterns.
