Whether it’s acquiring mentorship, joining a mastermind, hiring a new team member, or investing in technology, you should be budgeting for the upcoming year’s investments ahead of time to plan them in.
January is always a good time to choose the next investments you’ll make in yourself and your business for the upcoming year.
When choosing where to invest in yourself and your business, we truly believe that at least one investment in your growth needs to feel like a stretch. One that maybe you can’t see exactly where the money to cover it will come from or one that feels a little outside of what you currently feel “ready” for.
The mistake most people make in growing their business is investing in the person they are today and the business they have TODAY, not the one they want to have in the future.
This ONE mindset switch can change everything and has been the single biggest catalyst for our growth in life and business:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now we invest in the person we want to be and the business we want to have a YEAR from now.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
By doing so, it forces us to think differently and be more resourceful. You can actually start to tap IN to the energy of your future self NOW. Yes, this makes our palms sweat a little and sometimes feels like your gonna puke ? but that’s what growth feels like.
We challenge you to start asking better questions—instead of “can I afford that?” ask things like “HOW am I going to financially make this happen?” and “How much would I have to grow my revenue this year to make this investment a no-brainer, and how could this investment help me get there faster?”
Ask the questions that your higher self would ask, knowing that when you ask better questions you get better answers.
If you’re looking to invest in your growth this year, take some time to journal & reflect on this question before you do, find someone who has created results similar to the ones you want to create this year, and find a way to work with them.
It just might change your life like it did ours!
