Do you struggle to find motivation in your life?
It was no surprise to me that when I asked those of you who joined our text mentorship list what areas of life or business you wanted mentorship around. An overwhelming number of people asked about how to stay motivated + inspired when you’re working on BIG ideas. ✨
I know personally I find a lot of inspiration from being around people, attending events and traveling… But I truly believe that I CREATE my own motivation. So today I wanted to share a few of my tips for how to create more motivation when you’re pursuing big ideas:
1️⃣ You won’t always feel motivated or inspired, period. So don’t expect to feel that way 24/7! So often business or personal growth is glamorized on social media and we forget that ANY growth is uncomfortable AF. Check in with yourself—is the “lack of motivation” you’re feeling really just your mind trying to keep you comfortable?
2️⃣ The fastest way to get re-inspired is to put your focus back on who your big ideas are about in the first place—spoiler alert: it’s not about YOU, that big idea is 100% about who you will SERVE. Connect with someone who you can serve or help, and ask them what they need right now.
3️⃣ What will really get you into action far more than motivation is ACCOUNTABILITY. This is one of the reasons why I will always have a mentor or be part of a mastermind—investing in myself + my big ideas creates a massive sense of accountability that helps me stay consistent even on the days I don’t feel motivated (and I definitely have those days!)
