How to Start a Successful Business

In a recent podcast interview I was asked, “If you had to start all over and build the Powerhouse Women community from zero, knowing everything I know today, but starting at zero, what would you do?” 

It was SUCH a great question that I wanted to share my answers with you too! It doesn’t matter if you’re starting from square one or have been in business for years. These tips will help you make an even bigger impact:

1. Pick a platform and commit to showing up on consistently. Add value every day for 90 days 

2. Pick ONE problem you can help people solve, and create free content to help them solve it. Make sure to promote it as a freebie to build your email list!
   
3. Commit 1 hour every day to interact with the people who are looking for the solutions you provide.

• How this might look: 30 minutes browsing followers of other aligned accounts and liking 3 of their posts + leaving 1-2 comments, 15 minutes looking at the best performing content on aligned pages and saving it for content inspo, and 15 minutes answering DMs and connecting with my audience

4. Host regular opportunities for the people I’m engaging with to connect with each other. Think of a place, online or in person,  to invite the people I’m connecting with online so you can start creating a community behind your brand. 

The best thing about these 4 tips…anyone can do them and they cost you ZERO dollars!
