Paralyzed by making the “wrong” choice

Do you have an undeniable feeling inside that you are meant for more? Do you feel equally confused about where to start or paralyzed by making the “wrong” choice? I can so relate.

Here’s what I’ve learned… Sometimes it doesn’t matter as much where you start. You’re just supposed to take the first step that you can see to take, knowing that you’re going to learn lessons along the way that will keep guiding you in the right direction.

I don’t believe there is only one “right” path, and you’ll never feel completely ready. If you wait until you don’t feel any fear, you’ll miss the opportunity to impact the people.

Tips to Make the “Right Choice”

• Start with the next action step you feel the least resistance around taking. This will help to build confidence. Remember that in order to really grow you’ll have to take some freaking uncomfortable actions.

• Sit quietly and tune in to your heart. What do you really want? If nothing were off the table, no one would be upset, and you were guaranteed to succeed? There’s almost always a glimpse of a bigger vision if we’re willing to get present to it

• Be honest about where you tend to take yourself out of the game, and set yourself up to win. Do you need to hire a mentor or create an accountability structure for yourself?

• When in doubt, start with the thing you can monetize the easiest. Even if you’re not “in it for the money” let’s be real…money is a powerful tool to help you serve even more people!
